A very unusual all wheat porter made from 100% wheat. Fully of body and flavor, this porter tastes amazingly smooth and velvety. The rich and creamy mouthfeel is a result of the wheat used in the brewing process.
The importance of Wittenberg historically is due to its close connection with Martin Luther and the dawn of the Protestant Reformation. Partly because of the Augustinian monastery in which Luther dwelt, first as a monk and later as owner with his wife and family. It is also the location of that now famous door to the Castle Church on which Luther hung his 95 Thesis in 1517.
