Luther Lager
This smooth Dortmunder-style beer is a rich golden lager that blends sweet malt and dry hop flavors for a complex yet crisp, clean finish. In the early Middle Ages, brewing was the exclusive privilege of the clergy, nobility, and politically connected. The private citizens of the city of Dortmund were among the first "civilian" feudal subjects to receive the right to brew. Martin Luther was the first to translate the Bible from Latin (a language only the clergy, nobility, and politically connected of his day understood) into German that everyone could read and understand. Castle Church is proud to offer Luther Lager as a great tasting and enjoyable craft beer for any occasion! |
